Join the Museum of the City of New York and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art for an evening with Memphis-born Music Photojournalist, Ebet Roberts. Hear from Roberts as she discusses how she used photography to capture the heart and soul of rock-and-roll for more than four decades, offering candid glimpses of some rock's most iconic performers. This intimate evening will includes light snacks and bar along with an opportunity to experience, Songs of New York: 100 Years of Imagining the City Through Music an immersive interactive experience that introduces visitors to a full range of music from and about New York City, from the 1920s to the 2020s, showcasing everything from be-bop to K-pop, across genres, boroughs, and musical movements.
